Lydney Harbour Sunrise

£20.00£40.00

This mornings photography mini-trip for sunrise was to Lydney Harbour. Looking at the weather the last night I was under the impression I’d be embracing the grey, I had a simple black & white long exposure type image in mind. Oh, how wrong was I, believe it or not, it was an incredible sunrise, as I was driving through Bream the broken grey clouds above the horizon were being lit up with amazingly deep yellowy orange & purple hues. At this point, it’s safe to say I was getting a little excited… I parked up, had a little wander around to see how best to compose my shot, I was looking for simplicity. The colour was intensifying as the sun rose, by the time I was ready to shoot the colour was at its peak. Click, job done! Pack up and drive to work.
